Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

DIAGNOSTICS

Many illnesses and medical conditions that affect our animal companions cannot be detected on the surface of the skin. Some show no sign until they are fully developed. That’s why veterinary diagnostic tools are so important. These tools allow us to delve deeper, below the surface of the skin, to identify, diagnose and treat these conditions in a timely manner. Wasatch Hollow Animal Hospital offers a wide range of veterinary diagnostic services for our patients, including urine testing, fecal analysis, blood analysis, digital radiography (x-ray),  and more.

Our state-of-the-art facilities also feature a convenient in-house laboratory, which allows for timely and accurate test results. The sooner we are able to get to the bottom of what’s ailing your four-legged companion, the sooner we can develop and implement the appropriate course of treatment and return them to their normal, active lifestyle.

SURGERIES

At Wasatch Hollow Animal Hospital, we understand how stressful surgery can be for both you and your pet. That’s why we work hard to make each and every procedure as stress-free as possible. Our highly skilled, caring and compassionate staff is dedicated to providing the best available surgical care while remaining focused on your pet’s comfort and safety at all times. We offer a wide range of surgical procedures, both elective and non-elective.

Prior to any surgical procedure, each patient receives a thorough physical exam, including blood work, and patients are carefully monitored before, during and after every procedure by our well-trained care team. Following surgery, we will work with you to develop and implement the appropriate pain management plan to help your pet recover as comfortably as possible.

We want you to know that when you bring your pet to Wasatch Hollow Animal Hospital for surgery, whether routine or complex, they will be in excellent hands!
